For Bonnie Banane's EP S.O.S., the challenge was to visualize the album's title without a literal distress signal. My approach was to create a character who embodies calm authority amidst chaos.
The illustration depicts a stylized, serene figure—a nod to Bonnie Banane that avoids direct portraiture. She is positioned as a grounding force, systematically bringing order to a swirling, abstract environment that represents the sonic landscape of the tracks "CDH" and "CDA." The composition plays with tension and harmony, using clean, deliberate lines for the character against a backdrop of vibrant, disordered elements she is calmly organizing.
This artwork serves as a visual metaphor for the music itself: finding clarity, rhythm, and beauty within a controlled chaos.
