For this Fortnite collaboration, the brief was to reimagine the game's iconic Battle Bus and landing phase under the thrilling and chaotic theme, "The Sky is Lava." The challenge was to capture the frantic energy of the game's start while filtering it through my distinct illustrative lens.
My artwork depicts the moment of descent, where the usual freefall is transformed into a desperate escape from a sky raining molten rock. I focused on conveying motion and panic, illustrating the players not just as competitors, but as flecks of color and personality hurtling through an apocalyptic shower. The composition channels the playful chaos of Fortnite into a single, frozen moment of high-stakes action, blending the game's vibrant world with a tangible sense of danger and fun.
